Financial Assistance

As part of MSU Health Care’s commitment, we offer to the extent that is financially feasible, care and treatment for medically necessary services to those who are in need regardless of the ability to pay for services.

Assistance is granted by applying for financial hardship at least 30 days prior to any service being rendered.

Our patient accounts staff will work with you to establish an appropriate payment plan based on the amount due and your financial status. It is important to work with patient accounts by providing financial information that is essential to establish a budget plan or financial hardship determination.

Financial hardship determination does not affect a patient’s ability to receive care from an MSU Health Care provider.

To apply, complete the Financial Hardship Application Form at least 30 days prior to service, or within 30 days after emergency care service.
